Of the many varieties of rice, Basmati is the most sattvic, meaning that it encourages a peaceful state of mind. It also smells delicately sweet.

Easy to Digest

Rice is nourishing and easy to digest, making this recipe an excellent tonic for those who suffer from gas, bloating, or indigestion.
