The Goddess Garden totem pole outside our Conference Center is a beautifully crafted and spiritual symbol. Totem poles have been used for centuries with various meanings including symbolize or commemorate ancestors, cultural beliefs that recount familiar legends, clan lineages, or notable events.
Our totem pole on the property consists of a bird at the top symbolizing a powerful spirit and the ability to soar above all else. The middle figure is that of a Goddess, paying tribute to Mother Earth and the female energy. Finally at the bottom is a turtle. Turtles commonly nest on the beaches around The Goddess Garden and are a symbol of remembering to slow down from our busy lives and be more grounded in the present moment.
