About the Program

This two-week residential, intensive yoga teacher training is a high-quality, fully comprehensive experience. It is passionately and skillfully led by Jennifer Yarro, Lauren Harris, & Karen Ring. All three instructors are trained in Thai Yoga Massage, and have a strong anatomy background. Together, they will help you create a strong foundation from which to teach yoga. The program focuses on anatomical awareness, safe alignment, progressive sequencing, and hands-on assisting. At the end of the course, you will be a Certified Yoga Instructor, ready to teach and eligible to register with Yoga Alliance. You will be qualified to lead BOTH ‘Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary’ AND ‘Vinyasa Flow Yoga’. This is a rare opportunity to receive a double certification!

The Instructors

Jennifer Yarro, E-RYT 500

Jennifer is the owner and director of Frog Lotus Yoga in the United States and the founder of the Triple Gem School of Thai Massage. She trains students internationally for 200 hr hatha vinyasa yoga, 300 hr advanced yoga trainings, and up to 500 hr for Thai yoga massage. Her unique teaching style blends the wisdom of hatha yoga, vigorous vinyasa, cleansing kundalini, and a deep understanding of the physical and energetic body. She loves to study anatomy and offers classes that support skeletal alignment and muscular engagement. Jennifer’s compassion and willingness to hold space for growth in every student has made her an accessible mentor and friend to the hundreds of yoga teachers she has trained. She has been teaching yoga full time for over 16 years and running 2-4 week residential trainings for the past 10 years

Lauren Harris, E-CYT 200 & LMT

Lauren is an senior yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist living in the majestic valley of Ojai, California. She trained with Frog Lotus Yoga International in 2012 at The Goddess Garden in Costa Rica. In 2015, Lauren completed a 800-hour Massage Therapy program from East West College of the Healing Arts in Oregon and now runs a private massage practice. She teaches alignment based vinyasa yoga, and strives to make each one of her classes well-balanced, immersive, and inclusive.

Karen Ring, E-RYT 200

Karen is a seasoned yoga teacher, having taught in numerous Frog Lotus trainings in the US, Costa Rica, Spain, and Bali as the Anatomy Teacher. She is a Frog Lotus 2013 graduate from the Costa Rica training. Additionally, Karen has a long history of fitness as a personal trainer, Holistic Health Coach, nutrition councilor, and chef. She applies these interrelated fields with an passion on proper form, body mechanics, and joint mobility. Her anatomy classes are inviting and in-depth, yet accessible. She prides herself with sharing the latest information to new yoga teachers to promote safety and awareness in their teaching.
