The Bribri are indigenous people of Costa Rica. Here at the Goddess Garden, we offer tours where you can meet and learn about this fascinating culture. If you choose to visit the tribe’s community, you will meet a native family and they will introduce you to how they live. They will also share with you their language, how they build their houses with natural materials, their heritage, cooking, and history. The Bribri have a long history with natural treatments and medicinal plants and you’ll be able to learn how to make rope and extract colors and participate in a hunting demonstration with bow and arrow with a Bribri man. Finally, you can learn how to make organic chocolate, and try ten different flavors of chocolate created with fruits and plants from the local garden. To cool down, we’ll stop at a beautiful waterfall where you can relax and swim.
